Lovely hotel,very pleasant staff and so obliging

Our stay was short and had to change room as the noise from the traffic was all night, staff great though, also no beds at the pool.
Nightlife Tip: You will need some form of transport with this hotel,but worth the money

Worthy living in there

The room we lived is spacous and clean, the hotel is near the beach

When we arrived at the hotel, we were suprised that it decorated in retro style and seemed "tailish". we were happy that the room is spacous and clean.the hotel is about 20 minutes' walk to the kata beach.btw, it provided us free drinking water which wasn't in every hotel.the price of the room was resonable.however, the wifi signal was not stronge enough.

Satisfactory accommodation on a budget

The staff were always friendly, the room was cleaned everyday and there was cheap internet access available near reception, which was open 24 hours. Compared to other budget places I've stayed it was really good, clean bedding, a safe for valuables, there was even a minibar with complimentary water that was restocked everyday, so as long as you're not expecting a luxury room you should be satisfied. I chose this a budget accommodation to be near some friends who had booked somewhere else, it's probably just too far to walk to the beach on a hot day, but there lots of taxis passing so it's easy to get to Kata beach. There's also a great casual restaurant opposite (excellent pad thai!) and a little local market a few blocks away, so the location isn't too bad, it's just not in the hub of the beachside shops and bars (which can also be a good thing!).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Phuket is much more expensive than Bangkok and mainland Thailand, so if you're used to prices in other parts of the country you might get a shock here. in particular transport is limited and they take advantage of the captive market, so be prepared to pay more than you might expect - and always try bargaining and getting some discount!

We found the little mermaid resort just right for us it was the cheapest of the 4 places we stayed at and the best very clean friendly staff great pool good food at good prices by far the cheapest bar fridge and walking distance from kata and karon rooms were very good pool was nice

Good value for location and helpful staff

Good value and features for Kata beach; nice pool, free wireless worked OK, fridge in room with cheap beer/snacks.

Situated back from the main beach and centre - maybe a 15-20 min pleasant walk through a shopping/restaurant street to the beach. cheap eats on the street if you want. Considering the price of most Kata beach hotels this one provided pretty good value for me and generally comfortable despite bed being a bit hard.
